Directions and Parking
Marktredwitz boasts a very central location and direct access to the A 93 highway. In addition, Marktredwitz is an important rail hub on the Nuremberg–Eger and Munich–Hof lines. The airports in Nuremberg, Leipzig-Halle, and Munich can be reached within a reasonable amount of time.
Traveling by Car
Coming from the A 93 highway, take the Marktredwitz-Süd exit to enter the city directly.
Traveling by Train or Bus
From the Marktredwitz Central Station, you can walk to downtown in just a few minutes.
Various bus routes will take you to the different neighborhoods and surrounding towns.
Parking
Free Parking for Electric Cars
Electric vehicles with an “E” in their license plate number may park for free for up to 90 minutes in paid public parking spaces within the city limits. In addition, a parking disc must be placed in plain view inside the vehicle.
