Around 200 specialty stores, innovative and friendly retailers, creative promotions by the city marketing association MAKnetisch, and numerous events guarantee an unforgettable shopping experience! The downtown area, in particular, is perfect for strolling and browsing. Cafés, ice cream shops, and various restaurants are on hand to provide refreshments along the way.

Another highlight throughout the year are the town’s four annual fairs - which coincide with Sundays when stores are open for business.
